Guideline for Oral/Video/Poster Presentation

2. How to Prepare

1. Presentation File Format

  • File format: Powerpoint
  • Screen ratio: 16:9
  • Font: Default fonts provided by MS Office(other fonts may not appear properly)
  • Must include: COI Disclosure Information Slide (2nd slide)
  • Images should be in JPG, GIF or BMP format
  • Use the provided template for your presentation.

2. Submitting the Presentation File

  • Please visit the Preview Room at least 2 hours before your scheduled presentation and bring your presentation file(s) on a USB memory stick.
  • Presenters are requested to check their presentation files to ensure they work correctly in our system.
  • The method for submitting the Poster Presentations can be found under the E-poster (Poster Exhibition) tab.

3. Equipment

  • Session rooms will be equipped with a computer running Windows (not Mac), projector and microphone.
  • The podium will be equipped with a monitor, microphone, mouse, and timer.
  • We recommend that you DO NOT use your own laptop computer (in particular Mac Books) for your presentation(s) to avoid computer-projector compatibility issues.

4. Before Your Presentation

  • Please be sure to keep to the allocated presentation time in consideration of the next speaker(s).
  • Arrive at your session room at least 10 minutes before the session begins.
  • You will be responsible for controlling/advancing your presentation slides.

Guideline for E-poster (Poster Exhibition)
