      Submission Method Abstracts must be submitted online via the HBP Surgery Week 2026 website only.

      Word Limit Maximum 250 words
      Abstract Title
      • Presenting Author: Person who attends and presents
      • Corresponding Author: Main contact for communication
      • Co-authors: Up to 15 authors
      • Names: Full first and family names (no degrees/titles)
      • Affiliation: Department, Institution, Country
      Abstract Title
      • Max. 200 characters
      • Capitalize each word
      • Avoid abbreviations or acronyms
      Abstract Body Structured format under:
      • Background
      • Methods
      • Results
      • Conclusions
      Content Rules
      • No tables, graphs, or images
      • Must be grammatically correct and free of errors
      Presentation Types
      • Authors may choose: Oral, Video, Poster, Poster Exhibition
      • Note: Final decision rests with the Scientific Committee; oral slots are very limited

      Withdrawal of Abstracts

      • If the presenting author of an accepted abstract does not register by the pre-registration date, the abstract will be automatically withdrawn from the final program.
      • If you would like to withdraw an abstract, please notify the HBP Surgery Week 2026 Secretariat in writing as soon as possible.
